Does anyone else have favorite scenes that weren't in the film?
I thought it was a great production!
I just had some small, personal disappointments about scene selections.
Am I alone on this?

Well, I saw the movie before I read the book... So I didn't really have any expectations..

But when I read the book I was very amused by the scene where Edward holds back all the cars at the school's packing lot so that Eric (I think... or was it Mike or Tyler?) could ask Bella to the dance... Because he wanted to laugh at her response... It's a shame that scene didn't make it to the big screen. It could have been pretty funny Smiley

Other than that I also liked the scene in Carlisle's office, where Edward tells Bella about the family history etc. It could have been interesting too in the movie.

But I do see that it would be impossible to include everything. The movie is already pretty long compared to similar movies

I read the book after watching the movie..It wasn't hard to keep up but you could tell they included numerous scenes from the book into 1 scene in the movie. In the book Jacob all but told her what Edward was but in the movie it was has if she came up with the idea all by herself. With the millions of dollars this movie made I am looking forward to the remaining 3 movies.

When Edward is shinning in the sun, I had it pictured different.

I thought that the film was AMAZING .. with the book being 1000th times better.
I found it easier to visual how i thought the characters would look like.. than seeing them in the film. Which is why reading the book first, i think, gives you a better insight it the minds of the Bella & Edward.
I was dissapointed that alot of the meadow scene was missed out of the film & the funny bits like when Edward blocks up the parking lot.
Insipring book & film (L)

I read the books before seeing the move which was a bad idea. I mean the movie as a movie by itself was pretty good but compared to the books it really stank
